These Terms and Conditions apply to all membership subscriptions we provide. Please read them carefully before purchasing.
1. Definitions
In these terms:
- “we”, “our”, “us” means The Bee’s Knees Business Club CIC.
- “you”, “your” means the business or individual purchasing a subscription.
- “authorised users” means employees, directors or agents who are permitted to use your membership access.
- “content” means the digital materials, resources, events, articles, recordings, training, tools and information provided to members.
- “subscription” means the membership package purchased.
- “membership” means the subscription purchased.
- “website” means www.thebeeskneescic.co.uk.
By purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Order and Formation of Contract
When you submit your order, you make an offer to purchase a subscription. The contract is formed once your payment has been processed and we confirm acceptance.
Your use of our website is also governed by our Website Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.
3. Subscription Term and Renewal
- Membership runs on a monthly billing cycle.
- There is a minimum commitment of 3 months.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled.
- The subscription begins on the date payment is received.
If you wish to stop automatic renewal, please email hello@thebeesknees.co.uk at least 28 days before your next billing date.
4. Free Trial Period (If Offered)
- Free trials last 14 days unless otherwise stated.
- At the end of the trial, your paid subscription will begin automatically, unless you cancel before the trial ends.
- We may withdraw the free trial if we believe it is being misused.
5. Membership Benefits & Service Availability
We may update, vary, replace, suspend or remove elements of membership (including events, online spaces, materials or support) from time to time. We will always ensure the overall value of the membership is not materially reduced.
We will endeavour to ensure uninterrupted access but cannot guarantee that the website, online platforms or membership resources will be available at all times.
We may modify the website or content without notice.
6. Your Obligations
You agree not to:
- Use the content to provide competing services.
- Share, resell or distribute content to non-members.
- Share membership login details outside of authorised users.
- Use the membership in any way that breaks the law or infringes others’ rights.
You must ensure all registration details provided are accurate and kept up to date.
7. Community Conduct
We are a supportive and inclusive community. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel membership where behaviour is:
- Abusive, discriminatory, harmful, or intentionally disruptive to others.
No refund will be given in these circumstances.
8. Prices and Payment
- Payment is taken monthly by card or PayPal.
- Prices are shown in GBP.
- If your financial institution applies conversion or international charges, these are your responsibility.
- We will provide at least 30 days’ notice of any price changes. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
If your business size or usage increases such that a higher membership level is required, you agree to pay the applicable fee.
9. Cancellation by You
- You may cancel at any time after the 3-month minimum term.
- Cancellations must be requested in writing via email.
- Refund eligibility:
- Within 14 days of initial sign-up: Full refund if no paid member resources have been accessed.
- After 14 days or after accessing paid resources: No refund for amounts already paid, and your membership continues until the end of the current billing month.
Access to content ends when your subscription ends.
10. Cancellation by Us
We may suspend or cancel your membership if:
- Payment fails or is reversed.
- You breach these terms.
- We reasonably believe your use infringes third-party rights.
We may also cancel a subscription for any reason with 30 days’ notice. In such cases, we will refund unused membership fees on a pro-rata basis.
11. User-Generated Content
If you share content (e.g., discussion posts, uploaded files, images):
- You retain ownership of that content.
- You grant us a non-exclusive licence to use and display it within the community and marketing for the club.
- We may remove content considered inappropriate or harmful.
12. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, branding, imagery, layout and structure of the website are owned by us or our licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You may use content for your own business use only.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for:
- loss of profits, business interruption, loss of goodwill, data loss, or indirect/consequential damages.
- Our total liability to you shall not exceed the membership fees you have paid in the previous 12 months.
The membership provides general information and community support — it is not business, financial, legal, or professional advice.
This clause survives termination.
14. Variation
We may update these Terms and Conditions by notifying you or updating them on the website.
15. Assignment
You may not transfer your membership.
We may transfer our rights and obligations under this agreement.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by English law, and any disputes shall be heard in the English courts.
